Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.
A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.
Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!
It's a limitation of the MMF2 SDK. If an object don't have movements, the object can't have collisions conditions itself.
You can say "so why not simply adding movements to VectorialLine ?" and I'll answer "because this object can't be compatible with movements since VectorialLine has already its own movement (the line moves when you change the coordinates of a point)". It's the same thing with VectorialShape.
I've asked Francois to add just the overlapping conditions with backdrops and actives objects (not the collision events if not possible) but it's a difficult task...
Ah, I see. Understood, and thanks for the explanation.
Well, it was more of a logical situation when you design. At least it works the other way around, so one has to think a little differently with that, for now.
For backdrops : I must found a way to get the collision mask of backdrops and then found a way to test the collision mask of the VectorialLine pixel by pixel with the backdrops collision mask.
For other objects : I must found a way to get the collision mask of an object and its position and then process it like backdrops...
When this is released, I look forward to seeing it Vitalized!
What is the status of this extension concerning the threading issue that Yves was talking about it? Will it have to be changed and adapted before it can be used in Vitalize!?
I'm waiting for news from CT about the vectorial extensions.
I'm currently making some updates to the VectorialShape extension and I'll probably update both of the vectorial extensions to let them support the HWA.
The Vectorial Line has not been released yet because it's still a beta version.
