A simple question

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

    Hi,

    When not using rdPtr-> ... for setting the objects variables, that is, declaring them outside the function scope (making the "global").

    Does it make these variables global to all instances of the extension? Is that a good way of having shared properties throughout instances?

    Do they stay when switching level, for example?

    Any ideas?

    They will stay as long as your extension remains loaded, so yes, it does.

    There are functions that are called on loading and unloading the extension that you can use to correctly initialise and destroy globals.
