Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.
A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.
Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!
What are the chances of getting a step by step tutorial for writing a server with Poinc? At the moment the examples included with the download are largely uncommented. In fact, a whole series of tutorials starting from the ground up with Poinc would be fantastic, but that may be asking too much.
That would be great, it could cover the entire of Oinc and Poinc. I hope DarkKiller is all right with writing us some tutorials. Good documentation will increase the already high value of these extensions and tools.
DK, you need to come online, i found certains issues with Poinc. I send you an e-mail but theres others, and this prevents me from making a Verified login.
p.s. forget about the tutorials, people should learn Python or go home. cause everything is already well document in the commments sections. theres no point making tutorials for people who want it mouth fed, because the whole point of Poinc is to build your own server, and the examples provided are sufficiant! thats my opinion.
So.. If I have understood correctly, I'm going to create my game-server using POINC... That's all I got. After all I prefer Python more than C++.
I'm using OINC on MMF2, and it's only client-side extension, so am I going to combine these two thingies together somehow? I create client with MMF2 and the server with Python? If this is the point, only problem is that I don't know how I create communication between this server and MMF2 application.
I can only tell me if I'm wrong about this, I'll just want to know if I have mislead myself or not.
