Bornemix, can you upload in this topic compiled version of this extension? This is AMAZING!!!
You must have missed the thread where I uploaded it: Please login to see this link.
I recently had a go at making something from voxels but I really couldn't grasp it.. perhaps there's some simple thing I'm not doing right
Adam, are you referring to creating voxels or creating a MMF2 app using (ready) voxels?
ive never heard of voxels before this post, wow this is so freaking cool
i almost want to see this in mmf more than vector graphics
The Voxel Section Editor is AWESOME! Coudn't figure out what the hva builder is for though.
How do I get the Standard TGF2/MMF2 Palette into it though? It uses the .pal format and I don't know that format.
For those interested in creating voxels for TGF2 & MMF2 Games (like me for one), Iv'e created the TGF Pallete for you to use in the Voxel Section Editor, just stick it in the palletes/TS folder.
This way your active voxel objects will be the exact same colours as your active raster objects.

nice research dragon
The HVA editor is for animating your voxel sections (different parts of the body) and also for setting the hot spot of your model.
I wanted to insert the hotspot feature into the list of actions, but I haven't gotten around doing that yet.
Also, I believe the HVA is not loading right now.
Yeah not only it doesn't load the HVA of my model it only loads the first Section and not any others.
Also Y & Z rotation are the same, that shoudn't be too hard to fix.
Voxels are really cool I made a Tank! You wana see it?
Bornemix your extension requires conditions & expressions (just copy the ones off 3D Mesh).
Right, actually to have several sections I need to implement the HVA animation functionality (or else the computer doesn't know where to position the different parts).
Tiberian sun et al, although, positioned the parts automatically if the model only consisted out of 2 parts (tank, turret).
The active voxel doesn't, though.
how goes this extension? totally using this if we can get animations/hotspots working
Hi,
Animations and hotspots are the same thing, so be happy that it's one thing less
When is Active Voxel coming out, I grow tired of waiting.
You should be lucky someone's making it, have some patience, Jean.
