Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

  • There's also another bug that's very annoying, I have some applications that can't view more than about 30 extension, the rest is gone?

    Im sure it came with the build R249.

    I solved the problem by making a new frame, copy my old appl. into it, deleted the new frame, saved the appl. Open it and now I can by using "insert" see all my extensions again. phew...

    This is not a bug : when you select a "Java" build type for your application, you can insert only objects that are ported to Java.

  • Ok, I'm sorry for asking this, please forgive my lack of knowledge, but I hear a lot of people talking about Java and that MMF2 can save in java (if I'm correct). Not that I have anything against it. I think it's an awesome thing. But in my MMF2 when I click save as, I don't see this option. Am I missing something? I bet I sure might! (and will we be able to someday save our loved games to a format where we can play it on our cell phones? imagine playing your own game on your cell phone while you're waiting for the laundry machine to stop) peace!

  • I'm gonna "ctrl + Print Screen" that! lol. So I've seen on the net that (if I'm right) things are in the works for a possibility for us game makers (er... clikers, my bad) to upload our games online, then, have our cell phone download it and play it? (and if I get it, the only reason we are adhering to java is not only because it let us play games online (vitalize does that) but because of it being popular among other systems + being able to incorporate the game to go mobile?) Am I right?

    Please note that you need the Developer Version of MMF2 to build mobile apps. Also it is currently beta so don't expect wonders right now :)

    I don't think clickteam will host any fileupload anytime soon. The internet is full of free upload services. I'm sure you find one that let you directly download your .jar file right to your mobile device.

  • Button Object:

    Setting it to Radio Button and checking Transparent for the background causes a grayish doubling of the Radio and text to appear over the button when you run the application.

    Can anybody duplicate this?

  • I have a weird problem in build 249 with subapps. Basically the problem is that subapps stopped showing up - they are invisible, when they should be visible.

    Steps:
    - start new application
    - add new frame
    - add subapp object to the first frame linking to the 2nd frame
    - run application inside MMF2 Dev 249 -> works fine, subapp shows normally
    - build to exe -> subapp doesn't show up
    - save to mfa and open in MMF2 Std 247
    - build to exe -> works fine, subapp shows normally

  • So can someone fix this problem I get sometimes with the Image Editor sometimes in 248? When using the alpha channels, sometimes I will select black (0% opaque) or another color or greater transparency to the one I'm trying to replace and end up getting a different color. As in, I select black and get something slightly more opaque. I can undo and right-click to select, but it doesn't come up black then either.

  • Please add the parameter "Layer index" to the condition "Storyboard-Collision mask-Is obstacle/Is ladder" and to the expression "Storyboard-Frame-Value of collision mask".

  • Seems to be a problem with the Button Object when switching to Tick box. I set the Text to Bright Green and Background to Black. If I then set the Frame and APP backgrounds to black and run the frame. The text next to the tick box has gone.

  • Also the edit object doesn't show flat mode (Non 3d) after I have clicked the run frame option a few times. The Edit object looks correct in the final build just not in the Frame viewer.
