Pacman movement example

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • ... I just found this thread.

I was bored (probably on Christmas vacation) a couple of years ago, so I built my own Pac-Man engine. Of course, I always get bored and never finish anything, so the engine still sits here with countless others. I thought I'd upload it here for kicks.

The ghosts' AI is limited to that they can move through the maze randomly... also, I never bothered to build in the ghost house stuff.

I know there are probably plenty of better ways to build this kind of engine, but oh well. ;)

By the way, I was also trying to make it simple to make new mazes, so the graphics are all tiny squares. xD

  • Nostalgia! Anyway, it wouldn't work very well because there are so many objects. If I'm feeling productive one day I might remake it in a widget with no detectors.

And only using events, that start with vowels.
