What was your first post?

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

Never did get an answer. I waited almost 10 months after I got MMF2 before I would even ask for any help. I tried to understand as much as I could so I didn't sound too dumb. LOL

  • My first post was in 1999, but I don't remember what it was about. I did however e-mail Clickteam about where to find more library graphics before the official forum was released, probably 1998 or early 1999, and they redirected me to The Wall and Code-It. I didn't become a forum regular until 2000 though, but was quite active on code-it until then, asking others more than helping them, though =)

  • Way back when I used TGF, I never knew about the website. I did however stumble across the old v-cade.

Spent countless hours there on the games. I was medal obsessed! :)

Was a great place, eventually I spent more and more time here, and then when the v-cade died (that was sad), I moved over.

Used the forum more since MMF2 though.

But I can't say what my first post was on the old forums, but I was young and I wouldn't really want to know :D lol

  • Lol, the whole reason why I bought MMF2 was to make online games with it XD. My first post:

Well I didn't have the same typing style of new users, but I sure had the personality! I atleast understood about 75% of the thread, but maybe I'm just biased now that I understand all of it. Oh, and once again, thanks for helping me in that thread!

  • 1998 or 1999 and I still remember what I asked..... Can you create a RTS with MMF? Yves answered that one personally and stated yes, technically it SHOULD be possible, but no one had ever done it.

After that I bought MMF1.0 and created Andromeda VII with, the first ever RTS made with MMF. It even got me a publishing deal and some of the artwork is still in the MMF graphics libraries, but is a bit outdated by now.

    Good old days :)
