just keep at it! I've been doing this since I was 16... I'm now 28, and I know I still have LOTS to learn and master. I see some of the HWA examples and think the same thing! LOL I have a looooong road ahead!

Hmm I think this looks awesome! The main character sprite could use a little work, but the effects are amazing. Kinda makes me wish HFA wasn't abandoned...
ooh boy it looks like there are so many customizable features for the character. Sorry DarkeSoft but I don't think he can change the sprite now 
I just mean a few of the animations and stuff, like a few more frames in the jumping or punching animation. Overall the graphic style is quite good.
I actually redid some of the punching anims, they were too short in range and it was hard to hit stuff, but they are meant to be insanely fast.
a good handful of versions ago, I actually redid the main character sprites to make her learn forward a bit while running that helped a LOT.
as for jumping, I might be able to add something to flesh it out. Thats the joy of global objects. change em once.

I looked at the older demo vid, I see what you mean about the running anim. It's definitely MUCH better now.
