Hey, don't blame me! Bluewing uses the public spec from Lacewing. Incidentally, should I finalise Bluewing, I'll start up my server.dark-wire.com again. It's slighty hard to now, since my router's settings page died permanently a while ago.
Public servers
Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.
A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.
Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

On the subject of Bluewing, will you be porting it to other platforms? After all, Lacewing is compatible with pretty much every runtime, so, if Bluewing doesn't support every runtime, then we might have a messy problem on our hands. -
Lacewing is half-compatible with Flash, and compatible with Android. "Most of the runtimes" would include Java.
I'll look into it, but I have no Android devices, and Flash is kinda falling out of usage (altho it might perk up). -
While we're on this tangent, I'd like to know why we need Bluewing in parallel to Lacewing - is it just temporary until James has more free time to work on Lacewing again?

Hmm, well, I prefer a stricter object when it comes to messing about with binary. But others may prefer otherwise. It'll give Jamie more free time since whatever changes he makes to the plain liblacewing I can just reapply the wrapper to. I think it was a pain for him to maintain since there were a growing number of differences and he ended up having to split and maintain two branches of code rather than the one. I've essentially restarted it.

ledev.org server offline?
-
mdvgames, it would seem that ledev.org is indeed offline temporarily. I think it needs to be restarted again, probably.
-
My server should still be up most of the time. It's running liblacewing 0.2.6 (compatible with build #20)
IP: 99.164.78.31
Port: 6121Status: Please login to see this picture.
If it's down for an extended period of time, something bad probably happened, but usually the computer it is on stays turned on and untouched except for the occasional restart or router restart. Sometimes it can lose internet connection for extended periods of time, in which case I would need to restart it. No idea what kind of load it can handle, but should be fine for most testing purposes - just don't use it for anything official or final as I cannot guarantee uptime.

Ledev.org still needs to be restarted...

Well, LB, I need a server for something official, mainly the first playable demo for my online multiplayer game Galactic Battle. I'm thinking that maybe I could use shadsoft.no-ip.biz, but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to use that one for commercial purposes, and I plan on selling the final version. If Shadows_G26 could clarify whether or not that would be fine, then it could be very useful to know. Same with most of the other public servers (Villy has already answered when it comes to ledev.org, but that isn't up right now).

Sorted now. It is me being lazy and not making a startup script for pylw so when ever I need to do a reboot I have to manually start it, and wooopsi I forgot too :p

As a note LB, I'm working on a simple PHP script which will generate a list of server names in a HTML table for easy reference. Are you OK for using img tags with the source pointing to the online/offline PHP script you made?
I'm also cool with you sending me the code of the page. If no to both of those I'll start messing about with PHP sockets and whatnot.
I was planning to generate a temp file and only test the connections if the temp file was last modified 10 secs or so ago. In which case I'd need to code the check meself.Cheers

Yes you can use the script, and yes I have already posted the script in this forum.

Do you have a link to the source?

Apparently my server doesn't connect with fsockopen due to a security limitation, which I think is okay as it's a shared server machine.
Anyway, guys, here's a list of Relay servers with online statuses:
