Excellent Francois!

iPhone testing
Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.
A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.
Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

Yet another reason to love Clickteam...
They won't be able to tell that an app was made in mmf just by looking at the code cause of Clickteam's awesomeness!

I am excited about the possibilities of an iPhone/Touch exporting! That "cross-compiler" limitation freaked me out for a second. I've got a Mac and iPhone just waiting to take full advantage of MMF!
My hope is to have an iPhone/Touch be able to communicate through the network (wifi) with my MMF application on my PC... like some type of controller.
-
time to start saving for a mac mini then. or just use my credit card and have more debt xD.
-
Still I wonder if with iPhone release there will be release of Multitouch object (or touch object) for Mobile, Blackberry and PC runtimes.
-
Wow, I was actually just about to order a Objective-C book not 2 minutes away from doing a google search with MMF2 and iPhone (to see if a java export can possibly be run in Mobile Safari? Maybe someone can answer that? thx!). I'm seriously considering iPhone development (just downloaded the iphone sdk to play around with), and seeing this, (been using MMF2 for years now), just took that much stress of learning a new language off my back.
Any idea of when this may be released? You said still in Alpha. If you need any lucky testers for this, I am willing to sign up! I just got a mac the other day, still using MMF2 everyday on the pc. I'd love to test this! I'm definetly going to hold off on that book purchase until after I try this, even if it is months away. It'll give me time to come up with some ideas.
Thank you!

just a tip to everybody, perhaps you got a friend using a mac, and could borrow it for compiling. Then you won't have to buy one
-
Is it just for the iPhone? Or can it be used for the iPod touch and the new iPad?
I didn't read all 7 pages so I apologies if this has already been answered.
-
Yeah it works for all 3. I'm buying a mac mini and iPod touch just for this. Hopefully I'll be set for the summer.

Francois think the Iphone exporter is raising passions among developers of MMF and those who have never used the product. I'm sure this will boost sales of MMF 2!!!

It's no surprise really. I spent a few years creating games in TGF/CnC/MMF back in the late 90s/early 00's and it got to the stage where flash was really starting to take over.
I did try learning flash but it seemed so awkward compared to what I could do in the clickteam products.
Now years later, the flash exporter and iphone exporter has really bought my interest back in a more serious view of producing games.

Francois my demo is ready in landscape resolution for iphone and ipod touch.
As you send it?

Do you still need some games to test with Francois?
-
Ready Francois my first demo in PM...

For those who not know, Adobe has dropped the development of the Flash > iPhone exporter over the objective C issue. They are shifting their focus now on Android etc.
-
Yay! a real mobile OS. Anyone tried the Ubuntu mobile version yet?
