Textures won't load using milshape extension

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • I've tried .png, .jpg, and nothing. the texture is just not loading.

Hate to keep asking questions, but this one has mistified me for hours.

BTW is that a page with documentation on the extensions or tutorials/examples besides the ones that come with the collection?

  • Your model stores the full path of the texture, making the RequestedTexture$ expression return not only the name of the file but the whole path. In MilkShape when you set a texture you will want to have that texture in the same directory as the model file so that MilkShape won't need the full path to find it.

  • So when you store the model as an internal file in the object, it still downloads it from the orginal file location? The texture files saved into the same folder as the models by default.

Also, when you try to add an internal texture, it does not upload from anywhere, so I assumed you just paste the image in.
    Is that correct?

The external texture object was on the file, but I did not use it. Well, I tried to after messing with the internal, but that did not work for me.

I noticed it said you can load textures from active objects as well. Is it possible to just upload the model internally without a texture and assign a texture to it from an active object?
