Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.
A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.
Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

Hi Looki,
just one small "Sound-related" Question;
i and Keokeo had an interessting Talk about how to implement a "custom Synthesizer" into MMF. Here' s the Link to the Thread:
Please login to see this link.Would it be possible to create a VST-Host-Extension that would just act as a Host for VST-Instruments and/or Effects? With some basic Midi I/O and some Routing Capabilities (Audio).
Something similar to this:
Please login to see this link.
but ofcourse as an Extension for MMF?
Thanks in Advance and Greets from
jahkri

Yes, but that's not a job for me because it's rather complex and I don't have any audio experience. Nifflas has requested this before if I remember correctly, and probably some other people. Sorry.
-
Hey Looki,
thanks for your fast replie. I was not aware that people already requested it.
Anyway, would be realy nice if some day such an extension could be made by somebody.
Thanks again and Greets,
jahkri

Needs a way to get the audio length and current position
otherwise good job
-
Use MMF's inbuilt expressions, SamplePosition() etc.
-
I'd rather not use MMF's inbuild audio info features as they're inaccurate and unreliable
-
Well, the whole extension is based on MMF's audio engine...
-
Sound Player extension not allow playing when application lose focus...
-
ASD:
Quote from LookiWell, the whole extension is based on MMF's audio engine...
Which means that you need to have the option ticked in your application properties to play sounds when the window loses focus.
-
Yes, I had ticked "Do not mute sample..." option in application property. But, sound was stops...
-
That option doesn't matter to the extension. Did you check "Play without focus" in the extension properties?
-
Yes that option ticked too.
Could you send example? -
No it should work. Must be a bug. Won't be fixed anytime soon!
-
Question
Play sound with volume parameter. However, the first sound plays the maximum volume. What can I do to avoid this?
Example video: Please login to see this link.
Request
Can the volume, pan, and the position retrieve from expression? -
Thanks for the video, I'll look into this and try to fix it. By the way it would have been easier if you showed this in Event List mode!
You can retrieve the volume etc. with the inbuilt MMF expressions, i.e. SampleVolume("1up")
-
Thanks.
Another bug found.
Application was crashed, when restarting application (also pressing F2.)
The path of the sound file is specified by the expression. Any sound file doesn't contain in MFA. -
Please teach how to use the "Add from memory" action.
-
The sound generator extension sounds really awesome! I use SFXR all the time for my games, so it would be cool to generate them on the fly... as long as it's not too CPU intensive.
-
Is there a condition to test whether a sample file is not playing? I can't negate the "sound x is playing" condition.
