New, bigger and cleaner extension list

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Thanks to Yves update which allows us to change default group of Create New Object I was able to make more use of my extension list (based on current FusionWiki with some modifications).

Please login to see this link. you can find zipped ext.ini file of all published and available extensions (401).

The list doesn't consist any closed beta extensions (Irrlicht) or not available for public (Hempuli object) or all extensions from File Archive/Help forums if such were created (and I recall that they were) I will try to localize them and add them to list which I plan to update, so yeah have fun.

    Categories are as follow:

    .Audio - All audio objects
.Data handling/storage - general objects for data handling and storage
.Data handling/storage Arrays - All array objects
.Data handling/storage SQL - All SQL objects
    .Encryption/hashes - All security objects
.Eventing - Objects related to events
    .Files - File related objects
.Game Orientated - general game orientated objects
.Game Orientated Movement - movement related objects
    .Graphical - general graphical objects
    .Graphical 3D - all 3D extensions

.Z Java - Extensions compatible with Java only (not counting .Z Exporters)
.Z Mobile - Extensions compatible with Mobile (not counting .Z Exporters and .Z Java)
.ZZ HWA - extensions recompiled for HWA
.ZZ Unicode - extensions recompiled for Unicode
.ZZZ Discontinued - extensions which are discontinued
All objects - list of all 401 objects which is loading quite a long time

    Just remember 3 things:

1st don't forget to backup your exts.ini file (extension folder) before copying this one cause it removes original categories!
2nd I'm not saying that it's perfect list, it's proposal which sorts out a bit of extensions, and allows you to see which are available for all exporters, which for only particular one (don't forget that to particular ones you have to add those available for all of them!)
3rd it's only extension list not extensions themselves so if you don't have some of extensions they will exist in ini file but won't show up on list.

    Disclaimer:

I asked Yves to introduce that small change in CNO and sorted those extensions in this way because I want to create separate groups of extensions for my projects which I plan to have multiplatform so knowing which extensions are available and precisely what they are doing or are designed for was quite crucial for me. If you don't like it or you've got any suggestions feel free to comment.

    End is near.

  • Personally, I'd prefer having 'All Objects' on top and the rest underneath, but that can easily be fixed by removing/adding decimal points. Thanks!

  • Quote from Fanotherpg

If you will set All objects with dot and delete rest of them it should be all right.

"Al" comes before "Au" so there doesn't need to be any dots at all. ;)

Also, I never use the other categories anyway; I've never needed to stray from the "All Objects" section before.

Working as fast as I can on Fusion 3

  • All grats should go to Joshtek, Sortacore, Sphax, AdamDobay and Yves for changing one small thing in build 250 for me and everyone else who I forgot to motivate me and give me a hand in organization of those events.

I'm glad that you are finding it useful and I will try to update the list ASAP. The good thing about it is that, when any new extension appears because of lack of default categories it's signed as uncategorised (other) so you can easily add it to any other category (this is one of reasons why I used dots).

Hopefully the thread would be sticked.

    End is near.

  • Thanks to Jeff for uploading video from iOS exporter I was able to create Please login to see this link. with extensions which are iOS compatible. But at the same time the list of extensions to which we don't have access increased by 7 by following Entries:

    Accelerometer Object
    iPhone Button
    iPhone Joystick Control object
    iPhone Multiple Line Editbox
    iPhone Multiple Touch
    iPhone Single Line Editbox
    Location object

Because of that we've got additional categories:

    .Z iOS & Flash
    .Z iOS & Flash & Java
    .Z iOS & Java
    .Z iOS & Mobile

When I will get access to names of mfx files of above 7 entries I will add category .Z iOS for iOS dedicated extensions (anyone who can help with that one might PM me).

    P.S.
It's quite nice to see that even CT staff is using this extension list :)

    P.P.S.
I cleaned .Z Flash & Java group by deleting extensions which appear in .Z Exporters group.

    End is near.

  • Small note: Stochastic Utility is probably much more a maths and eventing extension than a game oriented one. There's nothing in the extension that's particularily more useful for games than other types of software.

  • OK next update guys:

I got information that I will be provided with names of extensions of iOS runtime when it will be released, so until then they will have it in Other category.

What's more I'm looking for extension called Bezier Curve which was created by kornelijepetak - if anyone posses it could he share with it?

    New in this list:

3D Active moved from Game Orientated to Graphical 3D
Nifflas & Stochastic utilities moved from Game Orientated to Mathematical
Text To Speech moved from Audio to Discontinued

Object Mover & Randomizer added to new Java & Mobile category
iOS & Mobile change name to iOS & Java & Mobile.

Link is the same like Please login to see this link..

    End is near.

  • Huge thanks for that extension StephenL! But I just wanted to go to sleep ^^' Oh well...

    [update]

Extension list is Please login to see this link. with Bezier Object in group Mathematics.

So only extensions which are not on the list and I am are aware of them include:

    Hempuli Object (ownership by Hempuli)
iOS extension family (ownership by Clickteam)
Irrlicht object extension family (ownership by Clickteam)
    Steam extensions (ownership by Subsoap)

Approximately it's about 15 extensions in total. How do you think should be update Fusion Wiki page?

Oh and I'm not counting Flash Haxx as Discontinued extension (like it is stated on Fusion Wiki) because AS Dynamics won't be released at least in form which it was thought to be released what Jamie stated in other thread.

    End is near.

  • After Jacob suggestion and my personal feeling I decided to make a bit heavy update for the list. To make it simpler to accept by old fashioned clickers, as well as more user friendly I decided to delete all decimal points.

Thanks to that All Objects are again on top of all groups, as well as you can select them by pressing first letter of group name.

But to keep the order of the groups following changes have been done:

    * .ZZ HWA and .ZZ Unicode are now called Vr HWA and Vr Unicode (Vr stands for Version)
    * .ZZZ Discontinued was renamed to XXX Discontinued and stays between Versions and Exporters
    * All Exporters from .Z have been renamed to Xport (Xport stands for Exporter)
    * Now the group of extensions compatible with ALL* runtimes is called Xport All
    * New Group for extensions was created - it's Xport Python and comes with all extensions currently fully compatible with Python Exporter - Codename Anaconda. (The * next to all connects with this groups because not all of those extensions are fully compatible ATM and this is also the reason why I haven't created other pairs of exporters for Python)

Message Box and Asker (old Message Box) was added to Vr Unicode
Internal List Object was added to User Interface Controls

The link is like always the same so have fun and give some more feedback: Please login to see this link.

    End is near.
