Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

    [size:11pt]Description (communicate with swf)
You can set a string in the loaded swf and read this string in the main-flash. The variable-name is [color:#FF0000]"ChildEFPString". See (fla) file in the examples-folder for more informations..

Is there a way to send a string back to the loaded internal swf file?
I tried the LocalFlashConnection object and SharedObject but didn't get it to work.

And what about reading width and height of loaded image?

I make an application, and I need to use these features too. Please (if it is possible) make a getimagewidth and getimageheight expressions.

    Thanks,
    Kunci

  • The update seems to break the original example. That is, there are no blue circles visible, and the counter keeps counting up.

Also, I find it hard to understand what stuff like "attach to stage" and "set z-coordinate" actually do. Can you make an improved example to work with the new update and help explain these sort of things?

  • Okay, the next updates comes very soon.. here a "preview" from the next update... collision-masks now works.. the blue circles are the "external-images" !! the other objects are "active objects"!

EDIT: Fixed one bug in the example :) thank you looki!

  • What feature I would like to see the most, is the perspective/skew. In fact, the ability to transform the placement of 4 corners of the image would be the best, since I am making a 3d engine and this quite crucial feature is missing from the MMF. Otherwise I'll have to prerender some of the textures from different perspectives and this consumes memory and doesn't look so good. :)

  • Okay, i have uploading the "update" again! And i have add two new actions for the MovieClips:

    + GotoAndPlay(frame)
    + GotoAndStop(frame)

    .. please test it!
    [color:#FF0000]
Please Note: You can't see any sprites or other on the local maschine? Upload the swf file to the web and test again ;) (securty-sandbox problem)

Wow! This seems like a feature that I have long been longing for. Can it also be used with multiple images that act as a layer mask for the same image at the same time?
