Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • The old version was working great but after updating this extension no longer works for me.

The old examples/projects using this no longer work and with the new example that is included i can see the buttons and can click a empty area to open a file selector but there is nothing else visible and if i click the buttons they don't do anything.

I recently updated to flash player 11 but the other flash extensions and regular flash games seem to work fine so i don't know if that has anything to do with it.

  • Unless it's the way it's suppose to work this is happening with the mfa example you included in the Flash Images Plus zip.

Basically i just see the 2 buttons and a text that says click here on a grey background. Clicking "Draw circle to plane" does nothing, clicking "Next frame" goes to a new frame that has nothing but a blue background.

  • Yes.. click first on the text "click here".. choose any imagefile (jpeg, png..) and then you see the image.. click on the next step on the "draw circle" and you see the circle.. and then you see the image in the next frame, too :)

  • I just found out the actual problem i was getting was because i am testing offline so i had to allow it in the flash player security settings. When i code AS3 with flash develop it automatically does that so sometimes i forget so enable it for MMF2 stuff which is what the problem was here it seems. I think when the swf is hosted online however that step is not needed. After allowing it with flash player now though i can see the image and circle with the example just fine. :D

Thanks for the update and help. :D

  • Hey, I've been unable to get an image from the local machine loading.

    >User clicks with left button on "Active 13".
-Load file from local machine to 1.
    -Draw loaded file 1.

Is there something I'm missing here?
And furthermore, for an image loaded from the machine, can I use the general changes from "File directly" with my machine loaded image?

  • Okay. Thanks for that.

And I presume that to change an image, you would just make an event which loads an image to a pre-existing spot. And also, will the loading only work when I export it to a swf file?

  • Great extension!

I can't manage to get external images loaded though, but it could be something I'm doing wrong. I tried using the same events as the example, with "Load file from local machine" replaced with "Load external file to global storage" but it doesn't seem to load anything. I tried absolute and relative URLs. I know the path is right. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

MFA attached. All I did was change line 2 to load externally instead of from the user's computer. Then I upload it with test.png in the root, and nothing happens. I even added a crossdomain.xml to the root, and still nothing.

Its a bug.. .. now fixed ;) Download the extension here again:

  • That was quick. Thanks!
Now I'm having an issue clearing the last image loaded. If I load an image into ID 0, then clear the file from storage and load another, it doesn't replace the file, but puts it on top of the old one. If I try to clear the draw, I can't get anything else to load after that. Let me know if you need to see an example.

    Thanks again.
