This extension lets you interact with Facebook through your swf files. Please keep in mind that this API is huge, so not everything is added yet.

Important Notes:

This extension can be used from a Facebook App, or Standalone SWF.
If used with a Facebook App, you must change your Canvas URL to point to your html file, instead of the swf file.
Please login to see this link.
You must use the included html file (included in the Help folder, make sure to change your swf name and your apps width and height) to embed your swf files, instead of the one created with MMF2, otherwise FB will not connect/validate the session correctly.

Extra:

I included some handy buttons in the properties of the extension. This includes tutorials, permissions, etc that you may need.
There is also some build information, that will make it easier to keep track of the used API version.

Would it be possible to have a way of loggin in without the oauth facebook dialog showing up? I mean a way of logging in directly with a string from mmf?

Also the above mentioned requestes... retrieve posts from users wall and photo???

Stephen, the object is not working for me.

The object appears ok on the MMF editor, it compiles ok, but when I use the index html page you provided, even though the flash game executes ok, none of the actions, evaluations and conditions of the Facebook object are executed.

Make sure you are setting your Application ID and logging in before trying to use any actions, expressions, etc.

I have, but it's like the actions aren't responding. Tested on IE9 and Chrome 12.0.742.30 beta-m.

Maybe it has to do with the fact that I´m using FlashFX which needs a different Flex-config file (?)

Also, I´m testing it from my hard-drive. Do i need to host it on a server to test it?

No. This extension doesn't modify the flex-config file at all, so that wouldn't be a problem. Can you send me your mfa, and app ID?
