  • Hello,

I have a question regarding Box2D force and couldn't seem to find anything in any manuals or examples, etc. and wondered if it is possible.

I have an object with it's own force however I don't want it to be able to move the player. Is it possible to disable the force between two objects or something? Is there another way around this? Someway to stop this object from moving the player about?

    Thanks in advance!

  • You could create a static body that's always positioned at the player and that doesn't collide with anything else than the object. The object should then treat the "player" as a static object and be unable to push him.

  • Thanks Werbad, that's a clever way of doing it and it works!

Oh, one more question. When using 'Quick Add Edge Chain', what are the specifications when entering the vertices? I can't seem to figure it out. :S

    Thanks in advance.
