Vitalize! compatible extensions

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • I'm getting after compiling projects with some of the extensions information that:

"Vitalize! extensions need to be updated to display this page. The update process is very fast. Would you like to do it now?

    Yes No"

I'm doing it under my Firefox 5 on 64bit Windows 7 Ultimate, and nothing happens even after half hour - Binary Array, Contrast object are just examples.

Are those extensions compatible or not?

    End is near.

  • If they don't have version for Vitalize, Vitalize shows only the logo. On some of them it gives that prompt... ATM I'm trying to make Xport list for Vitalize!. Cause I finished all other Exporters.

    End is near.

  • OK so I went again manually through all 474 extensions to check those 'compatible' with modern browsers (Google Chrome 12, Mozilla Firefox 5 and Internet Explorer 9) and results are terrifying!

Tests were done on 64-bit Windows 7 Ultimate installed as Polish but using English GUI with MMF2 Developer b252 with Flash and all current exporters in closed betatests (n the newest versions).

The tests consisted of Active with bouncing ball movement and 1 event - leave play area -> bounce and additional extension.

As I gather properly compiled and working extensions were allowing me to run the file and see bouncing active and not compatible one were showing only Vitalize! logo.

Sometimes I got communicate about extension requiring download but that didn't done anything under Firefox nor Chrome, on IE9 it shown Vitalize! update but after clicking Yes for Run nothing happened.

It took me couple days to verify all of them and results are terrifying!

Extensions which are officially declared as Vitalize! 4 compatible in most are not working AT ALL under any of those browsers - what's more they even don't declare that the update is available for them to work:

So ATM there are only 49 working extensions for Vitalize! 4 which run under Modern Web-browsers. And 97 which aren't and in theory should.

    End is near.

  • To Vitalize something, I found I had to send it to Yves... he's not exactly the guy with the most free time, so that might be why. There's not any documentation about how make it Vitalize-compatible included in the rSDK (or afaik the SDK) so that also might be why.

  • Yeah I am aware of that SortaCore but there is that list of nearly 70 extensions which are declared by Yves as compatible and they doesn't seem to work now were they used to.

    End is near.

  • I have just come upon this thread...
Now I understand why my .ccn won't load in chrome... ( see my post earlier today)

However , I can say the quiz object does work with IE 9 ( 32 bits)

I also got the message " an update is needed , but it didn't freeze the loading in IE9, it went on to show my app.
