Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

If this version doesn't work for any reason, you can reinstall the previous version (note: if you do that, it will install only the iPhone files, not MMF2 itself as the sub-build number of the new version is higher - if you want to force it to install mmf2 as well, keep SHIFT+CTRL pressed in the installer).

    Thanks for testing!

    Yves.

PS: general notes for new testers :

    - to build iPhone apps with MMF2 you'll also need a Mac with OS X Snow Leopard, you'll need to register as iPhone developer ($99 per year) and you'll need to install XCode and iOS4 on the Mac. Plus an iPod Touch, iPhone or iPad to test on a real device. More info in the documentation.

    - this beta version is limited in time (expires on July 15th).

    - the installer installs the current version of the build 252

    - please read the help file, in the Distributing/iPhone section for the main help, in the Objects/Inventory/Other section for the Accelerometer, Location and Joystick Control objects, and in the Objects/iPhone section for the other objects.

    - as the number of beta testers might become important as time passes, everyone won't get a free copy of the iPhone exporter at the end of the tests, as usually only a minority of testers do 80% of the work. To be clear, the ones who do a real testing work will get a free copy, the others will get a discount.

  • Just an idea for when the exporter is released, a video tutorial using the current xcode and how to get all the certificates and profiles set up might be a good introduction to new comers to the iOS world.

  • That would be very nice, actually - especially with regard to XCode project/final XCode project/XCode application, as well. Oddly, I remember it being simple the first time but mindbogglingly difficult the second time I had to do it...
