Flash'in'App - Implement Flash to OSX Application

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

Digging into it a bit more, it's not just flash movies, you can embed any flash game or application. I haven't personally tested it (mainly because I haven't really looked into how it works just yet).

But I was just wondering if anyone has used anything like this for a .swf complied through MMF2. And would like to know how it runs. I think it would be pretty cool to start developing for the Mac App Store, especially since Java-based applications are banned from it.

    Thanks!

  • Sorry for the bump, was just curious if anyone was able to get around trying this?

I would try it myself, but I have no idea where to even start on it. So I was hoping someone with a bit higher of a technical skill level could test it out?

The application itself I believe is $300, but includes a free trial that has a 'nag screen'.

  • Oh yeah! That actually looks a lot better than Flash'in'App. Can do a simultaneous deployment on Windows and Mac easily.

Has this been tested with any flash applications from MMF2 made for it?

Actually, with more researching, does Adobe Air do something similar to this? (I like name brands I recognize better :P)
