Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.
A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.
Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

I just downloaded the msvc90.dll into my sys32 folder and the software folder and still nothing. =/
Why those folders? It goes in your Windows folder.

First of all app crashes when tries to reinstall big amount of extensions (426) so I had to do them manually partially from my old MMF backup. Also following no longer supported/replaced extensions are not appearing on the list as being obsolete or unstable/unsupported.

Speaking of the BlackBox competition, I've been curious as to what it did. Does anyone know?
-
Same as happygreenfrog, so Fanotherpg, can you explain it ?
-
AFAIR it was done on some nerdy programming compo, where it's functions weren't explained at all and you had to find what it was doing, but at the same time it meant to be very powerful (thus Black Box).
-
I understand that, but someone finished the competition, and someone made it, so I'm wondering what it did.
-
Never tried it to be honest.
-
It magically out-of-nowhere worked today!

The extentionView data base is not supported and updated anymore ?

His last post was in 2012, he's been MIA since then. I don't know if anyone has tried contacting him or not.
-
Has anyone been having troubles accessing the database as of late? The other parts of extension view work fine for me but the database doesn't open. It acts as an opened program in my taskbar and shows that it is running in my task manager.
(I have already tried rebooting my computer and reinstalling the program.)
-
Jaffob is MIA, and I would guess his server is MIA too.

I'm having a little trouble with downloading and installing the Advanced Pathfinding Object from ExtensionView. It downloads the .exe fine, but when I click on it this message pops up:
The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether or need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher.
Any ideas how to fix this?

Hi,
I've been a user of MMF1 and recently upgraded to Fusion 2.5.
I have some older Apps developed using MMF1 (in *.cca format) and one of my reasons for upgrading is so that I could upgrade these Apps. However, when opening these up, the message says that I need to have these extensions (which I've never used before in MMF1!):
cunning.mfx, MIDIinterface.mfx and Dsound2.mfx.
Following instructions on using the ExtensionsViewer, I'm not able to find these extensions. Though Magicdeque.mfx was there, so I was able to install this.My question is how do I find these extensions so that I can re-open my Apps in Fusion 2.5?
Thanks! -
Those extensions don't sound like they were available for anything beyond MMF1. There is still a way to open your project, though! See the MMF1 folder in CF2.5's extensions folder? You can put the original extensions in there, if you have them. If you don't, then you can simply copy and paste any extension you do have and re-name it to one of those names, and repeat that process until you have an extension with the same name as all of those. Then you can see if those extensions did anything, and, if not, you can simply delete them from every frame, and then you should be able to open your project without worrying about those extensions from there on out. If they actually did anything, then some things may break after deleting them, so you may want to be careful about that. However, based on what you said, it seems like you won't actually need to worry about them doing anything, since you said you never used them anyway.
If what I said wasn't clear enough, I may be able to explain it more clearly, possibly even including screenshots to show you how to do it.
Also, welcome to the forums!

Thanks for your reply, happygreenfrog!
I had to re-install my MMF1.5 (not v.1, btw! :-P) to view the available Extensions in its folder.
Here is the screen capture of the Extension folder of MMF1.5:
Please login to see this attachment. So you mean I'd have to rename EACH of these to the ones that Fusion says is missing, until I find one that would open my old files, successfully??! :^D
-
No, I'm saying you have to copy the ones that are incompatible with CF2.5 into the extensions folder under CF2.5's extensions directory, the MMF1 sub-folder of CF2.5's extensions directory in particular. If you don't have them, simply copy and paste random extensions into the CF2.5 extensions folder, then re-name the copies in the CF2.5 extensions folder to be the names of the extensions that CF2.5 is looking for. It will let you open the files, but you may lose anything that those extensions did if anything (which you've stated was basically nothing anyway, so I doubt that will be a problem). I can post a screenshot guide sometime when it isn't so late, but, for me, it's 11:36 PM, so now isn't really the best time for me to make something like that.

Hey, yes I understand we being 12 hours apart and all!
Won't expect you to do screen captures after midnight too!! As for me, it's just after lunch about 12 hours into your future! ;-DDOk, I think I'm beginning to get what you're saying, so will go ahead and try this out (as you're sleeping!)
Thanks so much! -
Hi,
Ok, I tried the method you described and it allowed me to open the old files and I could go thru all the Storyboard, Frame and Event editors in Fusion 2.5 to view the graphics and all.
However, I'm not able to run the Application with it giving a runtime error ("edrt.exe stopped working")
So I guess the Extension is needed for the files to work -
