Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • I just noticed your post in the Extension Development forum LB so i will have to try this soon as it seems like a great idea. :D

The idea of new dialogs for extensions is great also, it worked with XLua and other extensions so i think with MMF3 if a SDK to extend the actual program dialogs happens that takes what can be done to the next level. If as well as new extensions to download we then new have tools and editing dialogs also that would be really cool i think. The next extension SDK can also extend on this type of thing and i think it's really great to see devs sharing resources and this happening already with MMF2. :)

What we need is folders and subfolders for alterables and objects etc. Then at the top of the alterables list you just have a edit button, in edit mode you can create, delete and position folders, sub folders and items (alterables). In the listing you could also have - + to minimize and maximize the groups also so you could quickly hide or show groups and have a large amount of alterables all nicely organized.

So basically like Fimbul suggests with a few more things for editing, also if not a edit dialog it could just be done with right click options but a edit dialog would be a lot nicer i think. With a dialog you can also add a few extra options that would be useful. Things like copy to clickboard or save alterables to a txt so you can quickly have a text version, then if the format is good you could allow importing of alterables via text. That way people could make 3rd party apps to quickly create a lot of these or editor tools with alterables built in etc.

For sorting objects in the frame you could have the current system but then just allow more options on right click like create and delete folder so you could have many subfolders under a main one. Currently i find things can get un-organized due to no sub folders when editing the frame so something like that would be much nicer.

A way to hide alterable values or use PRIVATE values (that are only used in behaviors) would be cool too, this way we could have internal values that are only used for stuff like sub-pixel movement or shooting interval calculation.
