A few iOS runtime problems >_<

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • I have tried to reproduce this several times the last few days in different ways whenever a new idea popped to my mind but with no luck. It might be device related.

  • Now that I tested this more (iPad 1), this happens for me when there first has been some objects moving across the buttons and then I press the home button and go back to the game --> button graphics "destroyed". This does not happen when there has been no movement (no objects moving over / overlapping the buttons) before I switch to the home menu and back.

  • This is happening to me on 2 different iPhone 4s, my game isn't meant for iPad, and isn't made to be compatible with it... I can't find any cause for the problem, unless the iPhone lags when loops and layers are used.

  • The joystick image problem, have you guys tried using the joystick extension object and making it invisible and visible again? Just wondering if it comes back still corrupted or not. If it returns non-corrupted you could always hide and then show it at the start of the frame (or after any events which cause it to become corrupted) as a workaround.

I only found this to happen in a particularly memory-hungry PC game I attempted (and failed) to put on the iPhone, but I've not tried the touch joystick in anything else yet, none of my games are designed to use it.
