If any problem you can re-install a previous beta (press SHIFT+CTRL in the installer if you want to force it to reinstall the main program files).

This version has a single (important) bug fix, selecting permissions was causing build problems.

Known issues
- 256-color apps crash.

PS: general notes for new testers :

- This beta version is limited in time. You need a registration code, let me know if you want one.

- The installer installs a beta version of the build 252.

- Look at the Distributing / Android section for more info about how to build and test Android apps.

- The Accelerometer, Location, Joystick Control and Multiple Touch objects are the same as for iPhone. Their documentation is in Objects/Inventory/Control.

- Please read the help file, in the Distributing/Android section for the main help, in the Objects/Inventory/Other section for the Accelerometer, Location, Joystick Control and MultiTouch objects.

- Testers will get either a free version of discounts proportional to their work. :p

Jamie, I don't know which beta version this relates to, but Please login to see this link. worked in Beta 4. I tested it now in beta 7 and it doesn't work. It crashes when I start the first level on the phone. I know that this game used to work, because it is the same version which I uploaded for Jeff in his Give me a simple game thread in July.

I don't know what makes it crash. I tried to remove pretty much everything from the game, but I haven't found it yet. I thought maybe you would find it helpful anyway. I'll let you know if I find the cause.

I don't know if this has been reported before:
There's a difference in gravity / speed with the pinball movement on windows and android. The objects seems alot 'heavier' on the android.

Edit: Another issue: In objects with alpha channel, semi transparent pixels are darker than in the Windows version.
Edit 2: Another issue: When I launch my application (Emulator or Samsung i5700) touch doesn't work at all, or stops working after a few seconds or minutes of usage.

Can confirm using both Tablet and Mobile Device.

It appears to have an adverb effect asin lighter pixels are darker in runtime, yet windows runtime shows them as 'light' pixels.

Attached is a demonstration of the Alpha Channel bug. The app is the same - Half black, half white, and a square white 0% alpha to 100% gradient in the middle. The right one is the Windows version, the left one is Android (Yes, I misspelled Phone). Android shows a grey gradient centered at alpha=50%.
