Build 253 - Release version

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • If you need to reinstall the release version of the SWF exporter :

If the SWF exporter is already installed on your machine, don't use these installers, use the normal update patch as it updates all the exporters.

Note: this is not a beta version. If you are a XNA or Android beta tester and you install this version or install the official update patch, you'll lose the ability to save XNA or Android applications, so you'll have to re-install the XNA and Android betas (with CTRL+SHIFT to force the installer to reinstall the main program files).

  • So this seems good to keep as a backup of the SWF exporter installer, then if we ever wanted to re-install we would use that then do a general MMF2 update to get any further updates.

    Thanks :)

  • Quick update : I've updated the file on the server, there was a bug in the manual registration page on Windows 9x and a bug in the uninstaller. Better re-download it if possible to have a better installer, but it's not mandatory.

Pharanygitis, what did you modify exactly? in what file(s)?

  • Currently i have change the bitmap-smooth from the sprites (to smooth bitmaps)! And.. i have found the Line/Bug from the MMF2-Loaded swf in other MMF2-Loaded swf problem, but i can't fix the problem.. the problem is in the binary array :-/

.. and i have add some traces :)

  • If it's what i am thinking the flash runtime really shouldn't have console traces the user has no control over in my opinion, they are very useful for debug/when coding but not otherwise and also could give away the event structure if people run firefox plugins etc. With MMF2 as there is the string and counter objects etc it's easy to have a visual feedback though but trace is only useful when coding.

Everything else sounds good, with the bitmap smoothing it would be better to be able to set that via the MMF2 editor if possible as with many objects things like that can effect FPS.
