All ok here. Have no problem viewing this site.
I also see the expired domain message so it must just be happening and hasn't filtered thru all the DNS servers yet.
Hopefully they find $7 to renew it -- I would be happy to renew it for them or buy the domain its a great name.
Looks like it only expired today. I have customers who miss the renewal date on domains all the time. Probably just an oversight and they will renew it today
I might have to become Sandy Claus again this year as an anonymous donor. But more likely, club just forgot
Someone buy it cheap and hold it at Ransom from Rikus.
These companies send out notices. Someone may confiscate the domain.

It will stay expired for 30 days during this time only the owner can renew it. It will then go to redemption for 30-40 days again only the owner still has the option to renew it but at $300. After redemption the domain will be availabe to be registered by someone else. Most domain companies have a sub company that snaps up the domains if the ad revenue they are earning justifies it.
Nobody will take this domain now for at least 60 days.
One thing people misunderstand is that you never own a domain name, you may only ever lease it. If you don't pay your rent you lose it.
I am offering to Rikus to pay the registration for it or if he is tired of TDC I would buy the domain from him as I always liked it.
It's actually Mike (Clubsoft) who is in control of the domain, I believe. I'll try and chase him up, see what he says
I actually came across the daily click before knowing about MMF2 and it took me a while to work out what a click game was (i just assumed it was another term for an indie game lol) and its a site i have been visiting everyday for the past few years.
its sad to see that site slowly lose steam and it would be even worse to see all the great information lost if they do choose to let it go but I do feel that sight needs a massive face lift and campain to get it up and moving again... things that dont help is the negativity on the front page posts and lack of front page updates... its hard for a community based site to function when there doesnt seem to be a community to provide content but if thats the case a moderator needs to step up and drive on.
i would love to see video tuts and tips on there and some real push to build a community and with things like the IOS exporter at our finger tips it would be a great way to get ALOT of new people both invested in MMF2 and their website.
(dont take this as me flaming TDC - i want them to do well and continue for at least ten more years!... its just not nice seeing something you go to everyday close)
lets hope they just forgot to pay or its an error...
if not, i would chip in a few pounds to help out.

Already asked him, he said it's Rikus who's responsible.
Hey, I actually own the domain, club hosts the site with a different provider. Dealing with register.com on this was pretty horrible, they did not autorenew the domain and for some reason last month had all my contact information refer back to when i was living in holland, so all the notices were send to rikusk@euronet.nl I had to pay a ridiculous re-activation fee so in fear of loosing the domain completely i coughed that up. (without telling the wife, im gonna be in trouble on that one later tonight:)
After dealing with their customer service it now looks they will give me that money back whenever that is going to happen I am not sure. I am pretty tired of it all and I did send Jeff a msg about the domain. I rather see it going to Jeff/clickteam then some xxx rated company (this happened to the ap-zone.com domain after I let that expire)
As for the TDC itself, all the content is still there and I am sure club can find a new url/domain for it he sees a desire still to keep it up.
You still have thedailyclick.com though, right? It always seemed odd to me that you kept create-games.com as the primary domain and not a redirect to the actual site name.
Jacob, someone else that used to visit the site registered thedailyclick.com however I do not know who that was.
You can contact the owner through the whois info for the dailyclick.com. I dont want to post details here but the first name is Justin
If someone such as jeff did takeover the other domain, i would be willing to sponsor the site and provide webhosting. My servers are all uk based, if you wanted the servers located outside the uk i could not help.
Someone please fix the topic >:(
Ah, that makes sense. Rikus, if you don't like your host/registrar, you can switch everything to AtomicPages.net (link in my signature). It's run by Ketchupmaster, a fellow kliker, and I have had little to no issue with them ever.
I also use Atomic Pages.
