Greek Language problem

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

  • Hi! I use for a month now the MMF2 developer unicode version.
    All my apps that are compiled for iDevices with the non-unicode version of MMF2 work perfect but when I use the unicode version I have the following problem.

    I create an one string (simple text) app with the iOS exporter in the uni version of mmf2 dev.
    I select the greek language as my default language for the app. I run the app through mmf2 and it works perfect. My greek text (one word in arial font) shows perfectly.

    Then I build it as a Xcode application.

    Then I run Xcode. It opens and everything seems ok.

    I compile it for running on an iDevice and the app is built.

    I copy it in the iTunes and then I copy my app on my iPhone 4s ios5.0.1.

    The icon is shown correctly, i touch it in order to start and.... it crashes...........

    The app just stops :(

    I thought that it was just the greek language. I tried english language but the same problem.

    One question; does the unicode version support greek language or am I doing something wrong?

    Thank you and have a happy New Year!!!!!!!!

  • No but This error appears:

    rh4MvtTimerCoef = (rhTimerDelta) * ((double) rhFrame->m_dwMvtTimerBase) / 1000.0;
    rhBaseTempValues=0; <------- Thread1: program received signal: "EXC_BAD_ACCESS"

    I compile it and it seems that is working BUT japanese (???) letters appear and it randomly crashes.

    Her's also the link for a simple app with one string object that says "kalimera" in greek language characters.

    Btw it could be great if you would change MMF2 dev unicode application icon. Sometimes, I'm comfused and I open the uni version instead of the standard version. It's silly I know but it could help.

  • I have news related to this problem!!!

    First of all it's not a "greek language problem"; it's for all the languages and it affects only the ios exporter of the unicode version.

    I updated to build 254 and i exported to xcode an app that I'm creating in japanese.
    In xcode i simulate it on iphone 4.3 and the app crashes with the following error:

    Thread1 / 1 callexp_systeme
    " expSysteme[rhPtr->rh4ExpToken->expCode.expSCode.expNum+3](rhPtr); // Pour sauter les tokens expression negatifs"
    <------ program received signal EXC_BAD_ACCESS

  • Hi Dam1an
    Can you send me your .mfa and an exported XCode project? I will see what happens.
