Active Direct Show music wont loop... what the heck??

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

  • here's the facts:

    - I already tried using a different song in case the game doesnt like the file. And I made sure it doesnt have a ton of blankness at the end.

    - I already tried making a new object and replacing the actions, in case the object was corrupt

    - I used the counter to test the volume, and it equals 1000.

    - tested to make sure its not stopped (by pressing a key and playing a sound effect if the object is playing)

    - I declared "set loop on" after playing the music

    - there are other ADS objects with "set loop off" actions but since theyre different objects that shouldnt be an issue. And I tested and its not an issue on the other levels in my game.


    Is there ANYTHING else at all that could explain why its not looping?! Please help. :)
