Is there currently any supported video playback for iOS yet?
If so, what type of video formats can be used? Or should I just use a png sequence for now?
Supported video on iOS
Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.
A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.
Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

Yes, there is an iOSVideo object for the developer version of MMF2
-
Supported formats from the docs:
QuoteThis class supports any movie or audio files that already play correctly on an iPod or iPhone. This includes both streamed content and fixed-length files. For movie files, this typically means files with the extensions .mov, .mp4,.mpv, and .3gp and using one of the following compression standards:
1. H.264 Baseline Profile Level 3.0 video, up to 640 x 480 at 30 fps. (The Baseline profile does not support B frames.)
2. MPEG-4 Part 2 video (Simple Profile)
If you use this class to play audio files, it displays a white screen with a QuickTime logo while the audio plays. For audio files, this class supports AAC-LC audio at up to 48 kHz, and MP3 (MPEG-1 Audio Layer 3) up to 48 kHz, stereo audio. -

I know this is an old post, but I cannot find the iOSVideo object to download anywhere, can you direct me to it? Thanks!
-
You have to own a Developer version of MMF2 to have the iOSvideo
-
I do have the Developer version of MMF2, but oddly enough iOSvideo doesn't show up in my extensions
-
Strange, message Francois or Yves then with your serial and perhaps they can help you out...
-
Ok thanks
-
Could I get a copy of the iOSVideo file too, I have the developer version and the iOS plugin.
-
For info, the iOS Video object is not available in the release versions yet, it's only available in the latest beta versions that can be downloaded in the private forums (that appear when you register your serial numbers in this forum).
