A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Hi

I am unable to get the L2 and R2 shoulder buttons to work on a 360 controller using joystick2.
Has anyone been able to ?

edit: even with " any buttons pressed" shoulders dont react.
I read on the web those are supposed to be mapped to axis ? But I dont know how to do that with joystick 2.

  • I think that the L2 and R2 buttons are treated as the Z axis I think. A negative Z is L2, a positive Z is R2 (or vise-versa) this allows you to add sensitivity to those triggers. I don't recall though, it's been a while since I put in Xbox controller support.

  • Thanks.

This is what I thought too but I havent been able to give a value to the Z axis ?
With Joystick 2 I can only find how to do: Check axis> Has Z axis. (Which was not triggering anything.)

  • It's been a while since I've used it, but I think in the conditions do a compare two general values, in the first box, set it to the raw Z axis, then the second box is whatever you want to compare it to. I'm not sure on the values, you might do a counter object and always set it to the raw Z value so you can get an idea on where you want the number to be.

  • Ah you're right ! Then I can just get it to 1 or -1 and it should be good !
Cant actually test it as my xbox controller just got messed up but I'm pretty sure that should work just fine :D
    Thanks !
