Is there a way to make the about window pause samples?
And please don't say to use the pause window instead of about. that doesn't work either and it also rewinds my (active) direct show music a little. plus I want to use the about window to show a message too.
can you clarify what I am actually supposed to tell it? is there an action for "window in zone" or something? if it is my ignorance is because its an action I never touched before. It doesn't sound very good though, if its only based on the spot it first appears.
I tested this,.but it doesn't work as I thought it would. Sorry guys,.but couldn't you make a fake about window and have a button that you pressed to display the fake about window with your text in it? I could make you an example if that's what you're looking for.
I agree here. Pooka, you need to delete the About window menu option and make your own and program it with events, then you can pause sounds before opening it and play them again afterwards. You can use a modal popup sub application.
thanks.... I will check into that if I ever need it but for now I am content because I changed the long sounds (victory jingles, etc) to active direct show objects which do pause.
