Build 255 - RC

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

Note: you can also install this beta with the "Build 255 - RC" global patch available in the MMF2 Owners forum, it contains this update and doesn't prompt you for your serial number.

    Thanks for testing!

    Yves.

    - Flash : crashes under certain circumstances with the Set angle action

    - Fix in the drag & drop object in scrolling application.
    - Fix in the Q&A object.

Bug fixes and new features in Beta 2

    - PC runtime : applications that contain objects without Data/Runtime MFX file could crash when you ran them from MMF2.
    - PC runtime : various issues when objects were missing from the Data/Runtime folder when you run applications from MMF2 or when you save them as stand-alone applications.
    - Flash : sometimes animations didn't end properly during lag/low framerate scenarios causing problems in games relying on the current animation frame.
    - Flash / Active Object : the Blend Coefficient property had no effect on the semi-transparency value

Bug fixes and new features in Beta 1

    - Non-PC runtimes (including SWF) : the collision detection is now faster.
    - Non-PC runtimes (including SWF) : sometimes the active object kept its previous animation direction.
    - All runtimes (including SWF) : set animation speed had no effect for objects with static movements.
    - Non-PC runtimes / Drag & Drop movement (including SWF) : sometimes the object was not selected when you clicked on it.

  • ASD : I could not do too big of changes for this version, as we needed something really stable quick.
I'll do it later and publish a beta.

  • So, graphical glitches in Button object's Transparency fixed?
Out of curiousity, is Y/F waiting for new bug reports before they do any new builds?

  • The installer stalls and displays Not Responding for an alarmingly long period with this installer after entering the actual installation phase, but otherwise seems to work fine.

Also, if you're just adding Unicode to an MMF2 installation, should you run Unicode last so it installs Flash/iOS/etc Unicode versions of extensions? Or will the other exporters install Unicode versions anyway.

  • The exporters installs the Unicode version of the extensions.

They don't check if the Unicode runtime files are outdated though, so when you install an exporter and you hadn't the latest version of MMF2 before installing it, it's always a good idea to install the latest official patch (from the build 256 the official patch will always have a version number higher than the one in the exporters so that people get it via the automatic updates).

  • I found a "null-error" bug when I change "blend coefficient" on active objects.

And other bug is on ho.hoX-ho.hoAdRunHeader.rhWindowX and ho.hoY-ho.hoAdRunHeader.rhWindowY (CRunExtension) ... works not correctly / wrong coordinates...

Seems OK with the build 256.34, what build do you use? (I think Francois fixed something like that in the latest build)

Not sure about the other bug you mention, I suppose Francois will need more info.

  • Yes, I do. What do you mean "Wrong coordinate"? Which object, and what is the problem?
I changed something in the semi transparency of counter objects. Would you have a demo app for me?
    Thanks.
