MDI advanced usage help

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • I want to detect wish supapplication is on top and is active.

I also want to intercept "close" command on each MDI window and on principal window to prompt the user if he want to Save, don't save or cancel close operation.

It's also possible to define an custom icon for each MDI window ?

How can I do this ?

  • 1) You can detect which subapplication is on top and active using the Window Control.

    2) You can intercept "close" using the WinMessPro extension.

    3) Unsure on this one, however just make the subapplication in use a compiled 'ccn' file rather than a frame in the same application and you can define the individual icon in there.

If 2,3 don't bring you any luck then you can always create your own TitleBar in the subapplication to which you would quite easily be able to change icon and intercept a click on close...
