A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

  • Hello

I still haven't figured this out.

The game is as follows: One is the host using Lacewing relay server and one is the client using Lacewing relay client (both v20). The host always blasts x and y coordinates of two objects to the client. Every now and then some other values get sent around.

After some time the coordinates stop getting blasted or received. What could be the cause for this? I checked everything. There is nothing that could deactivate the event that blasts to the client.
Weird thing is, the stuff that gets sent around still gets sent around.

'On error' doesnt give any message.

Surely someone must have encountered this problem.

  • Blasting is:
    Not guaranteed to even arrive
Not guaranteed to arrive in the same order
However, it should be more reliable than you are describing. How are you blasting the X and Y coordinates?

Working as fast as I can on Fusion 3

  • I tried different things.

    *Always

    *X or Y Velocity of object <> 0 (I'm using Box 2D)

Tried using the x and y coordinates from Box 2D and then the normal x and y coordinates.

    I'm out of ideas.

  • Add xposition of Object as short
Add yposition of Object as short
    Blast Stack on channel 14

I tried doing both objects in the same event, i tried doing them in a different events, yesterday i remade everything so it's always send/blast to peer/channel instead of server etc. etc. I really tried everything i can think of.

  • Are you sure you have Build 20 of Lacewing? Stacks were renamed to Binary several versions ago. Other than that, you should be sending/blasting to channels.

Since you first posted this I have been running a long term test - so far it's still blasting just fine. After how long exactly are the issues happening for you?

Working as fast as I can on Fusion 3

  • Yeah i'm blasting the binary data, sorry.

    #20 Windows(x86)

    After about 5 minutes....

I can't reproduce the problem via "connect to localhost" only over internet.
