I found it's hard to find references on extension's tutorials after I've been picking up new stuffs on ExtensionView, so might better to ask here...
Have been trying to do some quick particle effects like the one on the pic, so which extensions should I pick up?
Been trying to use the Particle Spray Object but still no clue on the config yet, can it import custom particle graphics?

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.
A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.
Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

I've yet to see some really good particle effects in MMF2. I have tried different things, but it basically just doesn't look good enough. Maybe it's because I suck at making effects, or because the effects generators aren't good enough, but some tutorials would be nice

If you didn't want to use the Particle Spray Object there is a really cool open source Flame Object Waterfall Example on my website. You may be able to adapt that.
The Flame Object is a little resource heavy though.

My advice would be to create your own particle effects.
Other than that there should be plenty of particle effect examples lying around somewhere -

Have been opening up your sites' example files, but it seems that my MMF cannot run some of these .mfa unless i changed the display mode to Direct3D.
Also I can't see the Flame Object Waterfall Example's particle effects as expected, so I wonder if there're problems within my copy of MMF... other examples works well though.
Please login to see this attachment. And these are very great examples for reference =D definitely bookmark your site!
