Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Also, I'm not sure if I am missing something, but how do you go about opening a URL? Let's say I wanted to create a html5 menu for my website, how to I program navigation?

  • BUG: Angle Calculations Incorrect? Or the angle is INVERSE of the windows run-time angles.
Possibly calculations based on MOUSE POSITION are reversed? Direction or Angle INVERSION.

I can't quite put my finger on it. Want the MFA?

  • "Build as project > Set build to HTML5 Application > Build/Run? Still White Screen on the local?"
Yes I can confirm that I still get white screen on the local.

I viewed source and looked into the .js file it was using, this was the error shown in chrome browser:
"Uncaught ReferenceError: hoPtr is not defined"

  • I would like the mfas for the two problems.
Everyone please post the MFA as soon as you have a complex problem. Do not ask me if I want it. I always want it! I cannot find something hidden in the code with a 10 word description!!!
So please make a MFA (as simple as possible, showing the bug), send it to me by PM (well the link to it), and describe as well how to get the bug.
    Thanks to 10 power 20.

  • No answer sine a couple of days.
An imprecise bug report, no mfas, then no response. Boys this is exactly we want to avoid.
Sorry for the rest of the people using the HTML5 runtime, but I will be unable to correct the problem.
The only think I know is that "hoPtr" was wrong somewhere. Certainly a missing "this." . Was it difficult to copy the name of the file where the crash happened, and the line number 8-|

  • BUG 1:
Good Compile, no errors or messages.
White Screen when run in Chrome.
"Uncaught ReferenceError: hoPtr is not defined" found in Chrome .js debug

mfa: Please login to see this link.

This mfa is a game work in progress. I wouldn't know what is making it crash.

Some notable details, most of the events to control the objects are in the event behavior of "Active PLAYER Main"
Extensive fast loop usage and some turn on/off of event groups.
    There are layers in use.

I will try to make some simple mfa examples soon for the objects and techniques used.

  • BUG 2:
angle for active objects is incorrect.

Compiled:Please login to see this link.

Interestingly the action point angle calculations seem to be correct.

  • First, thanks for the example and good bug reports.
About your platform game, it is very complex. I got it to run, but it does not work properly.
I will wait for a further version of the runtime to come back to it.
    All other bugs are corrected.

  • BUG 3:
Here is another Complex Game Example that compiles with no errors,
however when I run it it's just a black screen.
Looks like it got to the first frame but stopped/crashed?

Errors reported from Chrome on Runtime.js and the .html
    1. Viewport argument value "device-width;" for key "width" not recognized. Content ignored. colordizzy.html:9
    2. Uncaught ReferenceError: hoPtr is not defined

compiled: Please login to see this link.

mfa: Please login to see this link.

This is possibly a less complex bug than BUG 1.
Hopefully you can find the bugs!

  • I assume you want this:
Viewport argument value "device-width;" for key "width" not recognized. Content ignored. colordizzy.html:9
Uncaught ReferenceError: hoPtr is not defined Runtime.js:459

This information is found using Chrome (after I compile, upload, and run), I right click and "Inspect Element", find in the source the .js and click on it, which I can see the runtime.js in it's garbled form.

also: why does the attachment uploader resize my image?

Hi knpmaster. Upload your image to an outside server and put the link for it here. You will find it does not downsize.

  • Beta: 3
Bugs: Mouse Right Click, Mouse Text Cursor, Select Text Through Application

    (Chrome version 20.0.1132.57 m)

    1)
    Right Mouse Click Doesn't Work.

    2)
When you click and drag, the cursor goes to the "text" cursor.

    3)
You can double click the mouse and select the text through the application,
then when you click drag you drag the text selected instead of performing a mouse click.
This will interfere with gameplay on fast paced clicking games.

  • Beta 3:
    Bug: Previous game doesn't build

I tried loading up a previous game that I made, a rather simple game,
and there was an error when trying to build to html5.

It compiles a bunch of the files, however never makes the .html file
and displays the error message: Please login to see this link.

Francois, I have sent you a private message with the location of the mfa.
