Problem with links out?

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • What browser are you using?

    My Please login to see this link. (which I actually use), my Please login to see this link. (which I mostly don't use), and my Please login to see this link. (which I don't use anymore pretty much at all really). If there are awards for "'highest number of long forum posts", then I'd have probably won at least 1 by now. XD

  • You need to use the Flash URL extension.

    The way to use it (a bit tricky) is as follows:

    +Mouse pointer is over ACTIVE -> Set URL ("Please login to see this link."), Add Listener ( )

    +NEGATE +Mouse pointer is over ACTIVE -> Remove Listener ( )

    +Flash URL(On Click handler) -> Remove Listener ( )

    That way when you click on ACTIVE it will open the URL in a new window.

  • It's the same in all browsers.

    orugo, could you please clarify for me? I have a flash object, and Iin event editor saying 'Open URL > Please login to see this link.'. It works in the editor, but not online.

    I can see anywhere anything to do with Set URL or Add Listener...

    Thanks for bearing with me!

  • The Flash object that comes with MMF2 is not reliable to get the task done, so get this extension: Please login to see this link.

    You gotta unzip the files inside your MMF2 installation folder keeping the folder structure from the zip file, open zip file, select all folders and drag and drop into your MMF2 folder.

    Now open MMF2 and a new object (extension) will be there, it's Flash URL, add it to your frame.

    Now you can add the add listener events ;)

  • Ooh, you're working on a game for sponsorship? That's cool! It's a good way to learn what makes a good game and what doesn't, from what I've heard. Obviously, it's also a good way to make money. Some game sponsorship's have made thousands of dollars. I wish you luck! (Good luck, to be exact.)

  • Please login to see this link. :)

    Now, does anyone know how I can play include and play the armor games logo rather than having to call it from a URL?

    And how much is good money for a sponsorship?

  • ...how much is good money for a sponsorship?

    Quote from FGL

    How much money?

    The amount of money involved in a sponsorship varies a lot, depending on the details of the license, the amount of work needed on the part of the developer, the level of exclusivity for the sponsor - and of course the quality of the game.There is a general belief that a traditional exclusive license may range between $100 and $500, perhaps even hitting $1000 for the right game. These numbers aren't wrong, but they might be low: a great game can easily bring $5000 to $7000 for an exclusive license.

    I think this will answer your question quite well. If you need to see the page that is from, go Please login to see this link..

  • You can get the Armor Games logo from here, so you can copy the frame and paste it into your project: Please login to see this link.

    There are exclusive sponsorships, primary and non-exclusive (AKA site-locks) so it all depends. site-locks are usually cheap, something in the US$200-$500 range. Primary sponsorships vary a lot, going from $500 to thousands for a solid game. Exclusive sponsorships are usually better paid. If you are going for an exclusive or primary sponsorship your game must be unpublished.
