Deleting item using fixed value reference

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • As it says, I'm creating a bunch of items, keeping the fixed value of the one I need to delete (in a counter, if it matters), and then need to, on a later event (when I click a button, again if it matters), I need to destroy the item with the stored fixed value. I'd appreciate any help possible with this.

Also, I started using MMF2 literally less than 24 hours ago, so if you could be as detailed as possible, I'd really appreciate it.

    Thanks for the help!

  • It sounds like you're doing some pretty advanced stuff already!

Here's an example of how to do what you want. It's only two lines of code so it should be pretty self-explanatory:

The main thing to take away from this example is not to use "Compare Two General Values" as that will affect the scope of the object being selected.
