Update suggestion: Making instances, and pairing of objects easier to understand.

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

May I suggest you read these articles by Chris Burrows on Object Pairing and Object Scope?

They should help you understand how MMF2 works with duplicates of the same object."

Clickteam really needs to address these "secret procedures" in their product since they are not intuitive to most. Yes, I get it after reading the link, and thinking about it, but I don't think Clickteam really wants people to research functions of their product. They want ease of use as their goal. It would be a tough undertaking, but I believe that a lot of user frustration stems from these hidden procedures, or a lack of understanding regarding them.

I am certain that many users will look at this, and think, "What are you talking about? This is perfectly intuitive!"

It is if you have the mind of a programmer, but for the rest of us, and perhaps most of us, it's a major sticking point. I think the event editor needs more conditions that help the user narrow down and understand what they really want to do. Perhaps a pop up window (that you can disable), which hints at what you might encounter when using it, would also help.
