Hidden Game Tutorials

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • BenG, perhaps it is better if you explain what you have problems figuring out, instead of looking for a tutorial that covers everything. I don't think such a tutorial exists. Even if you find a tutorial, it is doesn't neccesarily do things the way you want anyway, since there are lots of different types of Hidden object games.

Could you give any specific examples of what you want to do?

My Please login to see this link. (which I actually use), my Please login to see this link. (which I mostly don't use), and my Please login to see this link. (which I don't use anymore pretty much at all really). If there are awards for "'highest number of long forum posts", then I'd have probably won at least 1 by now. XD

GamesSound com site (look in Learning Resources and Game Development Tutorials)

This site is great for easy to follow pdf or doc tutorials suitable for beginners and Lesson Six has an hidden object style game to try. Files are included in zip such as sound and graphics to make it easier to complete the tutorials, and screenshots are included- I would recommend this for getting to grips with these styles of games and learning the basics.
