IOS Continuous sound across frames?

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Is it possible to create and loop a sound in Frame 1 which continues to play over a frame change on iPad? Doesn't seem to work (cuts off on new frame)...but not sure if someone has found a setting to do this (e.g. channel number or uninterrupted)

    Thanks

  • Aha! I missed 'play sounds over frames' in the options. Thanks so much for that guys!
If only the IOS video object playhead could 'jump to frame / milliseconds' as an action while playing (and play, stop and pause) my life would be complete and I wouldn't need to keep jumping frames to control the video! :)

    Really appreciate the help!

  • jregork - I think there's a problem with sound stopping if you restart a frame, but should be fine if you jump to another frame and jump back. Not sure if this is fixed in latest beta.

  • Nah, it's happening with Jump to frame and Next Frame commands. The music starts playing on the "Spicy Gyro Presents" Screen, and is meant to continue playing until you either start a level, or jump back to the "Presents" screen (where it stops any sample playing and begins playing the title tune again)

  • jregork - Does it happen on PC or only on your iOS device? If only on the device it might be a lack of memory - how big is your music? Is it in MP3 format or WAV?
