I can't build an XNA application. When I select build and point to the SLN file, I get "an unnamed file was not found." If I try to build and save a new SLN file it says "point to the SLN in the root of the folder."
MMF 2 w/XNA Exporter
Windows 8 RTM (msdn)
Windows Phone SDK 7.11 update installed
The game I was working on was getting the same issues, so I started over with just trying to create a simple app.
1-Open Visual Studio for Windows Phone 2010
2-Select XNA WIndows Phone Game (for WP 7.1) template
3-Name the solution
4-Let VS create the project
5-Save
6-In MMF2, selected NEW
7-changed application type to XNA Windows Phone application
8-added a spaceship from the library
9-set motion to bouncing ball
10- set event to bounce off walls
11-saved mmf game
12-Selected File>Build
13-error "an unnamed file was not found"
I even uninstalled and reinstalled the XNA exporter.
Any assistance is appreciated since I bought MMF2 and the XNA supporter specifically for WP development. I have the Microsoft creator requirements, too.
Thanks,
Steve Bucci
