Xbox 360 - Now has Internet Explorer - HTML5 support

Anyone tested this out yet?

I am curious how some of the projects we are working on will work on IE for 360.

It is in the new Dashboard update for X360 released this week in the US. Please login to see this link.

Considering the 360 hardware designs are older than the PS3s (and the PS3's web browser is soooo terrible but WILL play many Flash games), and the reviews coming it are saying it is pretty sluggish, I am guessing the HTML5 support is slow.

I am curious is anyone has or will check it out, so we can experiment with having our HTML5 games run on IE on 360.

I doubt Microsoft would implement HTML5 games in their XBOX browser (clear competition).
But I have not tried it yet.

I got the update yesterday and it failed to load any html5 content created with MMF. No flash plugins either. Any kind of Downloads are blocked. It renders websites quite fast. I'm sure with future updates it will work correctly with HTML5 but for now it's only good for basic browsing and nothing else.

To use Iexplorer ,we must have an account XBOX Live Gold.

Yeah a gold account gives you a full online presence through Xbox Live. It's a service that is not cheap to run and is you are a savvy shopper and don't mind renewing every other month then you can get a gold account for as little as £2/month.
