Hi JHale,
I'm planning to port the extension for Android, maybe iOS later.

Open a TicketHi JHale,
I'm planning to port the extension for Android, maybe iOS later.
+1 to that
The tiles are no longer rendered onto the map after the new version of F2.5.
Do you know about this issue? I'll try to narrow the issue down and upload the mfa
No idea sorry, the example is working fine for me on the latest build (281.2)
With the MFA, could you provide the version of Tile Map (+ Viewport) you're using? And the build number of your Fusion 2.5?
Tile map loader: 14th of september
F2.5 Build R281.2
Got a lot of stuff at work, but I'll narrow the issue down to whatever is causing it and upload the mfa in a a week or two.
Just an update. I funded this to get this to as many exporters as possible so stay tuned!
I just bought Fusion 2.5 today, so now I can post here and say... thank you for this extension.
I would love to use this if it was cross platform compatible
It will be soon compatible with iOS and Android
The attachment includes three examples
- The very basics of loading a map through tiled (just small tweaks of RootKernal's examples)
- A level management tool for handling games that uses seamless level transitions (Old school zelda like connected levels)
- A basic example showing how you can trigger scripts from Tiled into your game

EDIT: Aww crap, seems to be some path issues.
Extract folder to C: or the tiled maps won't load the tilesets
The path should be C:\ExampleTiledScript\
Is there any chance when the next version(Android support?) gets released that the ability to read a tile's property in the tileset when loading objects could be added? While you can set properties to placed tiles/objects, you can't seem to read the properties you can set to each one in the tileset, which would be really useful for loading variations of the same object with different alterable values or storing settings like offsets to make them line up in the same way as the editor if they have different hotspots. It would also mean I wouldn't need an INI file listing which tile GID links to which game object.
Alternatively, what's the most reasonable way to do things like object properties without lots of duplicate exception events?
How about support for HTML5 also? (Is regular Exe working?)
I'm not sure if I'm understanding your request properly: you want the ability to read tiles properties? if yes, simply click on Tile > Get tile property
This is coming for iOS and Android anytime soon. (I'm waiting for the official Android SDK to come out and the iOS port is done)
I'm not developing HTML5 for now, but it will come.
In Tiled, you can set properties to tiles/tile objects on the map, yes, but Please login to see this link., and also separate from the tileset's own general properties too. These properties Please login to see this link., though, and I can't seem to find any way to read the Tileset entry's properties in the extension unlike the actual Tile properties, which could be really useful. Unless Tiled eventually adds a way to set default properties/make those tileset tile properties apply to laid tiles instead.
Also, do you mean it isn't coming to Android/iOS any time soon(will be a long while) or that it will actually be soon?
Tiled Map Loader #10
What's new?
Next release: iOS port (really soon)
Tiled Map Loader #11
What's new?
Nice!
How does ObjectUniqueId$ work? Do I set an ID in tiled and it works kind of like object properties? Or is it sort of like a spread value of all the objects in the scene?
ObjectUniqueId$ creates a unique string based on the object name/type/position
Now that you're starting to post updates do you still have plans on adding a kind of "get tileset tile's property" feature like you mentioned in a PM?
Hello , I have downloaded Tiled Map Loader #11 : thanks !
My problem : the example requires tile map and tile map viewport , but they can't be found via the extension manager
I found tiledmaploader in the zip and installed it manually ( copied in extension folder and data folder. ==> right way to go?)
Can anyone help me find the tilemap and tilemap viewport extensions? Thanks ! EDIT : foud the extensions , thanks !!
eric
