Grapple Engine compatible with MMF2 HWA Anyone ?

Not compatible how? It doesn't use any extensions and will work with any exporter. Obviously if you already have a movement engine, you'll probably need to modify some stuff to get them to work together, but what do you expect?

I guarantee the version of windows has nothing to do with it. It might be that your windows 7 computer is missing some MMF2 extensions or windows .dlls, or has a different build of MMF2 installed, or whatever else, but it's not the version of windows that's causing you problems.

I'm using windows 7 and that example works perfectly for me.
When you say "with HWA version" - do you mean that it works if you set the runtime to "standard"? That seems unlikely...
What error message do you get when MMF2 crashes?
Update MMF2 to the latest build. Re-download all the extensions that the example uses. Make sure you have .NET up to date and the usual Microsoft Visual C runtimes installed (eg. msvcp71.dll & msvcr71.dll are used by some extensions). If necessary, remove the extensions from the .mfa one at a time, until you find out which is causing the problem (it most likely is an extension that's causing the crashes). You can even message the extensions' creators to see if they know which .dlls are required.

You really should update to 256 or at least 255, there have been major fixes & improvements since then on both sides; standard and HWA.

Thank you. I think there is more than one grappling example on the site, so maybe use the Index Page. I will take a look on my hard drives for different examples.

Tis a pity that you can't use a newer version, and I have never heard of this before. 249 has to suck.

You paid the store for MMF2 and they installed it? That's interesting.
Can you send me over some details about this store, I didn't know anyone was offering this service.

In any event -- The update will install without you having the code.

You do really need to be using the latest version of the program before you ask for some help as everyone else is using a much later version then you.
A lot of issues have been corrected since build 249.
