I've purchased MMF2. Can I install it on multiple computers?

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

    I'd like to know before I try.

    Edit: I tried and it won't accept the product key. Is there a way that I can have this installed on my personal computer and my laptop?

    I use my laptop away from my home a lot and would very much like to be able to use this program on both.

    Is there a way to do this?

    I believe what you are wanting to do may be against the law. I think you would need to purchase another copy of MMF2. Perhaps you could enquire with Clickteam about discounts for additional licenses only (rather than getting duplicate CDs etc).

    Alternatively, you could try:

    * Install MMF2 only on your laptop, then set up your laptop as a desktop computer when you're at home (you might purchase a docking station)
    * Use remote desktop software to log in to your desktop from your laptop over the Internet (slow - but fine just for editing your MMF files if you don't need to run them in real time).
    * Download the demo version of MMF2 (possible temporary solution).

    ive installed it onto my boot camped Mac and my other pc upstairs. if i want to quickly try something at work (ie a lunchbreak) i just use the demo version (although not sure how many tried left i have with that).

    Yeah I use the demo version like that too. I miss the Newgrounds TGF2 version. Have a quick idea, build it, upload it, test it, work on it more when I get home.

    I got 3 machines at home, two laptops and a imac, but I use the mac the most but my bootcamp is giving me a hard time by giving the blue screen of death lately which left me a couple of times with an expired/blocked serial. :/ luckily the staff been very kind on helping me out in this matter.

    It should be noted that you have a limit to the number of times you may install MMF2.

    After a certain number of installs (using the provided CD Key) it will not work anymore...I believe this is to prevent piracy.

    I have had to reformat my computers a number of times and do several clean installs of MMF. After a few installs the CD Key stopped being recognized as a valid CD Key so I ended up having to contact Clickteam and have my CD Key reset in order to install it so keep in mind you may install to more than on PC/Laptop but you have a limit to the number of times you can install.

    Even if you uninstall and reinstall on the same computer it counts as another fresh install.
