Order of Operations Help?

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Does anybody know something about the order of operations employed in Multimedia Fusion Developer? I know it was mentioned in Jason Darby's book, and it said that some glitches which otherwise seem to be senseless might be attributable to this. I know all about BEDMAS (or BODMAS to you British folk) but is this the system that the order of conditions or actions would use? Mr. Darby wasn't particularly clear on what the order of operations was, even if he stated such a thing existed here. I have had a bunch of odd glitches which could be attributed to this, but if I knew what went first or where, this might help.

  • Yeah you need to just group things together with parenthesis... Actually I think the order might just be from left to right? That doesn't sound right to me yet somehow it does. Basically if you want an operation to happen separately, you isolate it with parenthesis.
