Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Hi guys,

    I'm really new to this.
Tried to compile the .apk file but this pops up.

    Buildfile: C:\DOCUME~1\WINXP~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\And469.tmp\build.xml

    BUILD FAILED
    C:\DOCUME~1\WINXP~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\And469.tmp\build.xml:83: Cannot find C:\Documents and Settings\Win Xp\.android\tools\ant\build.xml imported from C:\DOCUME~1\WINXP~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\And469.tmp\build.xml

    Total time: 0 seconds

I'm sure it's some steps I missed out in the process. Someone please point it out to me cos I'm clueless.
Emulator doesn't seem to work either. Totally nothing happens when I click on 'Run' or 'SDK Manager'.
    (virtual device is AVD_for_4_7in_WXGA)

What am I supposed to do?

    Thanks

  • I uninstalled n reinstalled the android sdk to a 'findable' location. And set it to all users.
    It fixed the problem.
    Application builds n runs.
    Emulator connects..

But displays a black screen which says 'Unfortunately application had stopped' everytime i try to run it.
Tested it on phone (galaxy s3) via Jeff's Dropbox method but got the same result.

Anybody know what's wrong with my build?
    I don't use frame transitions. But I use sub-apps.

  • I've removed all sub-application objects. Now it runs in the emulator.
    I can access most frames.
Some frames I attempt to access causes it to shut down again.

I'm gonna try it on phone and update my findings here.
I guess simple apps with only active objects does work, Jeff.
I used the sub-apps as pause and resume function. I'll have to figure out another way to do that if this keeps up.

  • Here are the results tested on phone (samsung s3)

All frames accessible without transitions and sub-app objects.
Pinball movement is haywire on emulator but runs correctly on phone.
Music plays at start of frame in emulator but does not play in phone (even with 'uninterruptable' set at different channels).
    Samples play correctly.
Active objects do not run full cycle of animation during collisions, especially custom animations (happens in mmf2 too and sometimes vector movements randomly stop or get stuck)
Button objects follow the frame when they're not supposed to. Very annoying. Must use active objects instead.
Frame resizing is smooth n looks good (I was using 1136x640 originally for iphone 5. But until I find a mac, it has to wait).
    After awhile, music stops completely.

    Your thoughts please.
