Build and Run only Builds then hangs

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Hi

I was struggling with rotation but have now found out to use the properties. Maybe something in the line of simpleShip.mfa (Please login to see this link.)

    But with more options.

    Keli,

  • I have solved my problem with MMF2 becoming unresponsive after creating the APK file.
I have located some general Android ADB Drivers for Win XP,7 and 8
Installing the driver cleared the yellow exclamation mark in Device Manager, MMF2 is now fully connected and the APK runs on the tablet.

My tablet is a NATPC M009S.

I did have to temporally disable driver signature enforcement in windows 8 in order to get the driver to install.

  • Been trying to come to grips with the Android exporter. Wishing for a basic "Development process tutorial"...but until then...
I've been creating small test apps to try things out and when I select build and run the .apk file is created but MMF2 just continues to show the "busy" cursor and never actually runs the application. The green bar at the bottom is full. I have to use task manager to stop the process.

Also I cannot get the Android Dialog object to show ANYTHING. I created a simple ..button click --> show quick message and when executed the frame shows and nothing happens.
    Any insight would be appreciated.

If you have the Galaxy Tab 2.7 you will need to install Samsung Kies. And ensure you have USB debugging turned on.

  • Hello all.
This worked perfectly on my ASUS MeMo Pad Smart ME301T

How to access "Developer Options" to set USB debugging (Jelly Bean 4.2):

Open up your device’s “Settings”. This can be done by pressing the Menu button while on your home screen and tapping “System settings”
Now scroll to the bottom and tap “About phone” or “About tablet”.
At the “About” screen, scroll to the bottom and tap on “Build number” seven times.
Make sure you tap seven times. If you see a “You are now a developer!” message pop up, then you know you have done it correctly.

Done! By tapping on “Build number” seven times, you have unlocked USB debugging mode on Android 4.2 and higher. You can now enable/disable it whenever you desire by going to “Settings” -> “Developer Options” -> “Debugging” ->” USB debugging”.

Please login to see this link.

Now I can export directly to my tablet from MMF2. Hope this helps other to :D
