Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • I updated the version 1.1 to avoid the C++ Redistribuable problem. The version 1.15, only compatible with Clickteam Fusion 2.5 is here: Please login to see this link.

    Change log:
    - Modified solution property to avoid the C++ Redistribuable problem.
    - Updated for Clickteam Fusion 2.5 (not full Unicode Support because of OpenCv library).
    - Removed 3rd Party library for color tracking (no performance change).

  • Hi all,

The feature object detection is a powerful tool but I will need more time to get a stable version of this working with a collection of feature objects (for TCG games for example).
Instead of postponing the release of the version 1.2, I decided to go forward with other features which are still great but less difficult to implement. Here we are:
    - It is now possible to detect and decode barcodes and QRcode. The best results can be achieved with an autofocus camera.
    - the orientation of the image can be changed (vertical, horizontal) as requested by one user on this forum

Please login to see this link.

In next release (1.3), I will add face recogniton and set ROI for the existing algorithms. Version 1.4 will be OCR recognitiion. I will go back to optimising feature tracking in the last version (1.5) with also hardware acceleration optimisations.
I am going step by step this time.

    Enjoy! And give feedbacks.

  • Thank you Conceptgame for the new release of your great extension !

I´have a issue when I try to open the extension example:

    The folowing popup message appears:

"This application has been saved with the Unicode version of following extensions:

    Open Capture v 1.16 (OpenCapture.mfx)

Install the Unicode version of these extensions and then restart the program."

Also, the files OpenCapture.mfx are correct installed at the right folders, but the extension don´t appears in the list of objects, at the moment to create a new project.

    My Fusion version:

Fusion Developer Version2.5 (BUILD R283.5) (Unicode)

    My OS:

    Windows XP SP3

Any idea? what's going on ?

    Thanks !

  • It is really strange. I am sorry that it is the X time that I have a problem with this. I really must test on a PC without any development environment or C++ redistributable files.

Anyway, I compiled it again and upload it one more time (same link as above) since the extension is named v1.2 and should not be a v1.16.

If it is still not working with this one, is it working with 1.15? If yes, it is not the same problem as before with the C++ redistributable files.

  • Thanks Damien for your reply,

The new compile 1.2 version still make the some error, (and it still reference to Open Capture v 1.16 (OpenCapture.mfx) file in the popup error message). it´s like the extension find some named "1.16" ?

    The version 1.15 work ok.

I look forward to the new orientation feature of the 1.2 version, my requested last year and so kindly developed by you. Thank you Damien.

  • Go through and manually remove any OpenCapture.mfx files from your Fusion installation - check all the folders and use Windows' search feature. Once you have removed all of the old/bad versions, reinstall.

Working as fast as I can on Fusion 3

  • I removed manually the OpenCapture.mfx files from my Fusion installation previus Windows' search, and reinstall the extension again. don´t good results. I have the popup error still reference to "1.16" version.

  • I see no reason why it i still asking for 1.16. There is no more string with "1.16" in the code. Did you try to start a new project from scratch?
From what I understood from your first post, there is no extension displayed in this case.

Otherwise, start this beta extension that I made for other people to test QRCode recognition.

  • Here the cases with diferent install of extension.

V1.2 don´t show the extension at the moment to create a new object for new project. When I try to open the example, it don´t start and show me the popup error asking to "1.16" version

V 1.16 don´t show the extension at the moment to create a new object for new project

V1.15 is OK, the extension is present at the moment to create a new object for a project and the example open ready.

  • Small update to get the workaround from LB by EDIF SDK. It is required if you use sub applications. Otherwise it does not work and crashes by closing application.

  • Hi droberson,

My next step was to integrate OpenCv 3.0, mainly to handle HWA for post-processing. Since some of you have some troubles with camera handling under OpenCv, I think I will also separate the frame grabber from the image processing.
It means that it will be possible to handle IP camera with another extension (frame grabbing) linked with the original OpenCapture extension. It also means a better design I think.
